Marble / Limestone Bathrooms and Tiles

Marble and Limestone has been used for thousands of years to create beautiful interiors and these materials continue to be a favourite choice for vanity tops, bath surrounds, showers and wet rooms and of course floor and wall claddings.

Marble
The look and finish is slightly softer and more tactile than that of granite and there
is a vast choice of colours and finishes available, many with extremely attractive veining and incomparable patterns.

This means there is a suitable colour to suit all tastes and design needs, whether contemporary or traditional. Minimal care will reward you with everlasting beauty, elegance and luxury in any application.

Limestone
Limestone is a very durable material, again, available in many colours, finishes but it vary in terms of its hardness and suitability in certain applications and advice on any applications will be freely given. It is a sedimentary stone, quarried for thousands of years from many different countries around the world.  All limestones exude a quality, classical appearance and feel and often they contain many unique features such a shells and fossils seldom found in any other materials.

Wherever its application limestone will provide a quality, style and aesthetically pleasing look that is difficult to achieve with any other materials.

Tiles and Other Applications
Slabs are available to fabricate bespoke wall panelling, bath surrounds or vanity units as well as matching tiles for floors or wall coverings and cladding.

Tiles are available in many different sizes, the common sizes being 305 x 305mm,
406mm x 406mm, 610mm x 406mm, 610mm x 610mm and random patterns are readily available. Tiles are also available in many different finishes such as polished, honed, brushed and antiqued and information and samples are readily available on request.

Limestone and Marble retains heat very well and therefore is very suitable for use with under floor heating systems.

In bathrooms it is extremely important to pay attention to the anti slip qualities of the chosen material or selected finish, particularly when the floor is wet.

Advice will be freely given on the suitability of any material selected and the suitability for the proposed application.
